“Poland has one-tenth the spare water resources available to U.S. shale producers, a more densely-populated country, eleven times the reliance on agriculture and one-hundredth the drilling-rig count, the report said”

This news adds to the growing questions about the future of shale gas in Europe.

But also in the US, public opposition against shale gas is growing because of its environmental risks and doubts have been expressed about the economics of shale gas production.
