We are the ones who will have to do the real work, no matter who gets elected president. The work is easier with more allies, and Obama is the one pulling in new people and getting them “fired up.” What we have to do is to keep the new people in, keep them fired up, and hold the new president’s feet to the fire — whoever he or she is.
