News alerts: consumers and climate change; nanotechnology coalition 19 June, 2007

  • Consumers do not trust what corporates and governments tell them about global warming, according to a report to be published on 22 June by AccountAbility and Consumers International. They also have very little faith in religious figures, celebrities or the media when it comes to finding trustworthy information on climate change. Read more on this in OneWorld and Accountability
  • US NGO Environmental Defense and DuPont will launch on 21 June the Nano Risk Framework, a tool for evaluating and addressing the potential risks of nanoscale materials.
